This watercolor mountain study is a great one to begin with. It shows gow to create a simple but effective early morning, mountain scene with the added bonus of learning how to paint a colourful sky at day-break.

your better off buying special watercolor paper. Its pretty much mandatory. paper from drawing blocks buckle too much.

  • i love it.. you really helped on my project.. thanks ^^

  • looks like a bra to me but you put a life on it that is why GREAT JOB!

  • @snickerscandy876 that is because art is dead here in America.

  • Has anyone else noticed that pretty much all watercolor tutorials have a person with a British, Australian, or Cockney accent?

  • beautiful!

  • I stretch my paper the old fashioned way; i dunk it in water for about 3 minutes, then tape it to plywood and let dry overnight... I do a few at a time and store them; THAT way I will always have a canvas to paint on when I feel the urge to paint. When my painting is done... the paper is always completely flat !
