my tv only has 1 set of 3 plugs ( the yellow, red and white ones ) and I wanna register gameplay for videogames but those plugs are already occupied by the game console's plugs, how do I use both at the same time?

Not immediately, but it's only a few steps to accomplish it.

So what they're really trying to tell you: "I'm a complete moron, but even I can do it (albeit with the assistance of the camera man...which can be heard clearly). If it's so easy, why would you need someone to prompt you to do anything? I hope this was for a school project, and not an effort of corporate to display the user friendliness.
FYI, mine wiped out 140+ Gigs of video from my i-pod in 1st use. No mention in packaging that it required immediate firmware update.

nigahiga.....I just got mine working by connecting my i-pod directly to it, but I want to start on a usb flash drive. The usb drive is brand new, but when I put it in, it starts to recognize it, but after a few secs/mins it stops trying to recognize (and the orange indicator/status light comes on. Do I need to put the usb/fd in the LapTop first and set it up? (sorry, I've never used one before? Same thing with my PSP, with a usb cord (and new memory stick) Any advice? Thnks very much!

PSP probably wont work because it requires some kind of special format, but your flash drive is probably a cruzer or something fancy, try a cheap flash drive with only memory on it, no pre-installed programs, those programs confuse the irecord
