  • Just wanted to say that I think you look great and I would love to be where you are right now. Don't forget that muscle weighs more than fat..you could just be replacing body fat with muscle which would keep you from losing weight. Thanks for inspiring me !!

  • I have noticed that the only way for me to lose weight is through fasting. I have decided to juice fast once a month for 2-7 days. A high nutrient/calorie ratio is the secret, I think makes it easier to take in fewer calories after the fast. Also, take in enough to support some kind of physical exercise everyday for about 20-25 minutes. If I followed guidelines for how much I should be eating and calculated deficits, I would never lose one pound. Sound like you are in the same boat.

  • I think I am in the same boat, and it's a sucky one. lol

    I've tried the fasting thing before, and it's not a very good option for me. I think about food all day long when I know I can't eat. I fasted for 2 days, and the little weight I took off I instantly gained back. It's cool that it works for you though- and it sounds like you've educated yourself about it instead of just not eating. Knowledge is definitely key. :)

  • Hang in there and keep working out. You do a lot to inspire people here with your vids. P90x is a great work !

  • I like to believe that my videos do help or inspire people. That's the one thing that keeps me going to continue recording them!

    P90X definitely is challenging, but so worth the effort. Nothing beats the feeling you have when you finish it! :)

  • It's good that you switch off when the workouts get tough- you don't get discouraged and stop. That's awesome. :)

    Thank you for the nice comment- I never completely give up. It would be much more motivating if I was seeing the results of my work... but I keep going nonetheless. Acceptance of my body is my biggest obstacle, but one I need to overcome in case I never reach my weight loss goals.

    (But I still secretly hope I reach my weight loss goals!)

  • I definitely am dressing up for Halloween. We're having a costume day and potluck thing at work on the 30th. Should be fun. :) I'm sure you could find a fun party to go to or something on Halloween- your town can't be THAT dull!
