Apperantly it was from the 7200PRM disk.

DO NOT USE IT.

Can you back-up your whole PS3, HDD's data to your PC (i.e. my laptop's D disk, 100 GB) using a USB-USB cable? (do you really have to use a external hard disk)

Is the hard drive of the ps3 same as hard drives of pc? or is there a specific hard drive for ps3's?
