@playdoh626...my son is in fast co. right now..he likes it alot ..its a 5yr contract 2yrs security forces but ur an 0311 and u go to SOI and then BSG school..near end of grad from BSG they decide how many needed for prp (but u have to have security clearance for prp if not then its Fast) ...top training tho in fast and its good for LE future...good luck!

@467076 Don't know if you guys have left for boot yet or not, but I am also a poolee. I am trying to get an infantry or SF contract. This is info I learned off of Marine forums and my recruiter. If you have a SF contract you will go to SOI like infantry Marines do and get a 03xx mos. Probably 0311. After that you go to security forces training. You spend 2 years in some security forces unit then you go to an infantry unit for the rest of the contract.

Security Forces is a UV five year 0300 contract, you will spend half you time in SF and half in the Fleet, you will go to Boot Camp, SOI than BSG school, at BSG you will get a Dreams list of places you want to be stationed weather that be a F.A.S.T company or Naval Base. At the end of school they give you your duty station which is sometimes what you wanted but not always if your Record is clean you might be sent to PRP command its pretty much luck of the draw, so shut the fuck up little kid
