----------------------------------------

Lebanese composer Zad Moultaka undertakes a contemporary approach to traditional Levantine mouwashahs with Lebanese contralto Fadia Tomb El-Hage, and defies the traditional structure of both the music and the instrumentation, by including an occidentally-accorded piano playing along the orientally-accorded instruments and the oriental vocal cadences of the singer. This work embodies the effervescence of the modern Levantine culture with all due respect to traditions.

In my humble opinion... here is a genius' masterpiece!
