  • Native Americans used to live by a Matriarchal "gifted" economy where you were judged not by what you owned but by what you gave to others. Thousands of years spent living in such a society was erased by the white man who literally beat the civilized concept of greed into them. It's time we return to the past and to a better way of living!

  • This is a MISINFORMATION!!! The Gift Economy should enable the people for to share the ABUNDANCE - look at wikipedia: limitless knowledge for free!!! Here, you show the misery for to confuse the people who are searching for understanding !!! STOP NWO here and now - FREE WATER, FREE FOOD, FREE HOUSES ... ARE THE REAL HUMAN RIGHTS! THE ABUNDANCE IS FOR ALL IN REAL GIFT ECONOMY on real real free market. So, let us work for free out of love (not out of need for NWO'S MONEY). The nature is generous!

  • Looks like Mali got it right. But I find it very suspicious that the West promotes this type of living for other nations, while they rob us poor people blind. It just another wait till the next life scenario, your rewards are in heaven while they live like kings here on earth. The people of Africa need some creature comforts as well!

  • @Sk8ordieknarlysk8er Greed is not in human nature. Explain people who donate to charities and volunteer time to help the homeless. Rather; greed is a part of society.

The flawed society that gives importance to the rich - rather than criticizing the rich for not spreading their wealth to the poor.

  • @Sk8ordieknarlysk8er In this form of societal structure, I don't want to be at the top, because that means somewhere, someone is at the bottom. Secondly, I insist there is no such thing as greed, as clearly you can see it's not in effect here. Nor am I a greedy person and I currently live in this so called free society (you've never been more of a slave). The environment in which one lives ultimately shapes his or her disposition and motives.

  • Okay, have the gift economy and live in the poor, or have the free market where you have the human right to compete safely and reach the top.

Greed is in human nature. It is only evil because the selfishness of another human being perceives that to be.

However, health care and basic necessities are basic human rights.

  • @miss3v3lyn ~ the Hebrew culture has practiced Tzedakah Charitable giving from one, to another, within-the community~about 3,400 years or more, yes it is a biblical thing,

  • Is this not what we read about in the book of Acts when the TRUE ecclesia or called out ones practised sharing what they had, and we are told no one lacked anything, meaning there was no poverty amongst them? This is scriptural and it is good!

  • Look the ABUNDANCE OF KNOWLEDGE that is created by wikipedia volunteers!

That is the ABUNDNACE that 6 billion could enjoy if WATERS, FRUITS, GOLD, PETROL... were FREE! Working for FREE out of PASSION is motivaiting!

Mali was robbed, Mali was enlsaved, Mali suffered from Western SATANIC POLITICS - THIS IS A BAD EXAMPLE OF GIFT ECONOMY - THIS IS A MISSINFORMATION !

  • @sunshadeful your words reveal your basic greed and mean-spiritedness

  • I give the company I work for the gift of my labor and knowledge.

They give me the gift of cash and health benefits.

I willing give time, and they willing give money.

Capitalism is the same a gift economy except you have a system of currency to support it and you are not socially required to help people if you don't want to.

  • Mali is one of the poorest countries in the world; It's also buried in debt and accepts lots of foreign aid. Had to look that up myself though.
