I'm so glad your horse recovered! I went through the same thing with my Belgian stud about 8 years ago. He was torn open pretty badly so I talked to my Indian friend and he gave me a bottle of some green stuff he brewed. It stinks and the smell wont com off your hands for a week but it worked. We still haven't been able to get the biggest piece of that dog out from up in the old oak tree though. The stud kicked him so hard that chunks flew.

The dog messed with a Belgian stud? Holy crap I can imagine what happened by what you have stated... They are actually bigger than Clydesdales aren't they? I can imagine that the kick from him tore the dog to pieces.

of all the dogs i've owned/experienced, the only one that actively attacked me was a MALTESE CROSS TERRIER. IF treated correctly, big dogs can be so loyal and perfect

@chiconspiracy my dog had to be put to sleep by animal control because it wanted to my neighbor's toddler, he attack twice and yes she was pitt bull

Hell pitbulls are the only dog that will get along with any animal and be the protective dog towards kids. Labs are more likely to bite kids.

Small dogs bite on a daily base but no we don't hear about that. Pitbulls rarely attack

@twohitdead the vet recommended it even though she felt that it stung somewhat... the mare healed completely and I do thank you for your concern , but there was no proud flesh at all... and you can not even see where the scars were it healed so completely. for which I am grateful and relieved :)
