shit these are huge.. i never new malawis got this big. realyy nice tank
Hey, beautiful fish you have. The all look in great health and condition with awesome coloring. I'm not one to try and tell people what to do, but bud......u definately need more water flow in there, the fish are breathing pretty fast and there is not enough circulation and/or aeration. The fluval FX5 is cheap and does the job well........keep up the good work with the fish though.

I've got 3 eheim 2217's and 3 powerheads, as well as airstones.
Honestly, though guys are hardly breathing fast at all. Especially for their size and the activity level in that tank!
Thanks for the comments though.
Without the airstones and air aggitation, there is not enough oxygen to support those big fish!
Actually, I no longer have most of these fish. No, they didn't die, I just had to keep one tank. It IS this tank, but I sold all my big preditors.

But you are telling me what to do. Honestly, I don't quite understand why people feel compulsed to do this sort of thing.

You've got a great selection of malawians. My Venustus was just as big as yours. He was the beast of the tank. Very nice!

Thanks, I wish I still had all these guys... but I sold several. I really needed an 8' tank for all these guys.
A couple of these guys are on aquabid for sale. The spilonotus and Borleyi.

I am the owner of Tx Holey Rocks web site and I approve of your tank. Great Haps, very healthy tank and active. One of the few tanks with large Africans I have seen well balanced with the stock. I was sad not to see any Tx Holey Rocks in your tank though.

Actually, I DO have some of your rocks, but not in this tank. I've bought two rocks from you, but they're in tanks with smaller fish... and i've always been too cheap to buy any of the cool BIG ones, I've spent it on fish. You've got some nice rocks at a good price!
