  • I always enjoyed you playing this song Wayne...much love! Shelley

  • Tony Quarrington taught me how to play guitar. Best jazz guitarist in Canada.

  • This wonderful song was written by Horus Silver. It was inspired by the late great Leon Thomas who was one of the first Jazz Yodelers on record. It's a style called Umbo Weti by one of the West African Pygmy tribes, it's probably old as time. The Pan flute style was also inspired by Leon, and it's still fairly unique, taken to another level by Wayne who has been developing it for 35 years. This Pan flute was hand crafted by Master Pan flute maker Kevin Budd. It's tuned chromatically.
