project name SSX trailblazer. 2006 ss trailblazer with LS2 engine.Intake upgrade,performance exhaust, high flow catylytic convertors,and headers. apparently Jim didnt have enough power because the zo6 corvette was faster so we put a GM Performance Parts Hot Cam performance camshaft. all told after P.C.M. reprogram. this truck is pushing 478 horsepower. beat that with your 200 hp honda.

@woodall85 all LS engine blocks are virtually the same. yes that is correct.

the part number is 12480033. that part number is the kit from Gm performance that comes with new valve springs. DO NOT USE THE VALVE SPRINGS FROM GM!!. the springs from Gm are the stock 2004 Z06 VETTE SPRINGS AND THEY CAN ONLY HANDLE UP TO A 525 LIFT. given that information, if you over rev-ed the engine 100 rpms, your springs would bind, so we circumvented the problem by installing Comp Cams beehive style valve springs with caps and retainers. any more info you would like??
