A 16th century Lute tune by the prolific composer, "Anonymous." Played on the mountain dulcimer by Steven K. Smith. The arrangement is based on one by Randy Wilkinson, but I re-worked it for solo dulcimer, with four equidistant strings and the 1+ fret.

  • Thanks Ruth. I'm Playing a Jerry Rockwell Baritone that I've restrung in 4 equidistant strings, Low A D A d. It's like having a "regular" DAd tuned dulcimer with an extra low bass A below the bass D.

  • Absolutely beautiful! You make it sound like a well played classical guitar!! Incredible!!!

  • That sound great. I loved it. I only pray that one day i can play that well. I am new to the dulcimer.

  • Beautifully played, Steve! Some fast finger work there too. What dulcimer are you playing?.
