Born and raise in Madrid (Spain) producer and dj, Leandro Gámez makes first steps in his musical career joining some industrial orientated projects, in the late 80's. Further influences where early "house" as well "intelligent" but mainly "Detroit". In 96 joining Toni Rox one of the best house dj in Spain he iniciates "The Frogmen", the most succesfull live act in Spain ever. During the next 2 years they performed 50 gigs all over the country, collaborated the label "Boozo Music" . Just before the split in 98 he gets in touch with "Ongaku Music" and "Fieber rec" in Germany; 4 stunning releases where about to follow under the project "Cio" it was about to start to using his real name in order to promote himself stronger. After releasing his first album "Rhythms and Silhouettes" on Fieber records he joined a new project with "Fieber" label owner called "Shared Work" which probabely happened to be his breaktrough together with releases for labels on the same label and Primevil . Leandro and "Big Toxic" another spanish producer, started in 98 the label "Audiodrome" which shows up with the cream of spanish techno as well as a new own label called "Isoghi" more tech house and techno oriented keeping a high production level, with producers such as Patrick Dubois, Bando, Danilo Vigorito, Deetron, Back Spin Boyz, Daniel Erbe, Cio etc . In the 2000 Leandro starts a succesful career at the swiss label Phont Music as well as into many others like Monoid, Superbra, Atlas, Pornographic, Primate...been the first Spanish producer in releasing at Intec the famous label from the superstar dj Carl Cox . In 2004, after many other projects, Leandro teams up with producers Dan Corco and Southsoniks into a new project: Versus Records, where they will be able to express the synergy from their musical point of view.
