  • @SPTSuperSprinter156 correct on 16 April 1995 which was Easter Sunday. All phone numbers which began with a 0 then began with 01.

  • @SPTSuperSprinter156 I remember that day and the run up to it with 01 in the phone numbers. The First I heard was on an edition of Live and Kicking. When I noticed their phone number song.

  • When he mentions nearly every phone number in Britian has changed - this must have been when they added a '1' into some numbers - I thought they did that in the 80s!

  • Wow this went out on my 9th birthday

  • Andy Taylor on the continuity booth and Michael Buerk on the virtual studio on its Easter Sunday, April 16, 1995. Please, don't erase my message-or my mom will get angry at you. Diana M. May 3, 2009
