Recorded this yesterday after having been up for 26hrs. Inspired by the Bob Dylan documentary 'No Direction Home' by Martin Scorsese in 2005. This little ditty was written right after watching the film about 2 yrs ago or so. Don't know why I chose to record this one but here are the actual lyrics.

Our Way Home

Look at me, can you see
Through the mystery
You made me all that I am

Now Ive fallen through the hands
In loving memory and those that cant stand
Theyll be what they see

It was all that I could hold
Nothing truer, nothing sold
Come lie gently in my mold
Knowing you can free

Its all flowing
Were all going
And were always gonna be
Though the meaning is not yet known

Its trying, theres no denying
Through it all you take the falls
Unknowing, were on our way home

Every enemy and friend
Those that were both time and again
You showed me what was real
All this guessing what is true
What I did, what they do
Becomes moot in the end

Honestly I was me
It was all that I could be
Did what I could eventually
Disproving all I'd been told
