Top Plots Episode 5: David Hartz

In the fifth installment of the 2010 Top Plots series, watch as North Dakota grower David Hartz shares shares his trials and successes from the techniques and new residual herbicides he's experimented with this growing season. For the first time last spring, Hartz used Kixor® herbicide technology for preplant and preemergence treatment of his corn crops and Headline® fungicide for an in-furrow use on soybeans. In recent years, Hartz has seen excellent yield increases using Headline for disease control and plant health on corn acres as he consistently pushes the boundaries for yield in northern North Dakota.
