No matter how good this lineup looked, 'storrs', CBS was in a bit of "flux" on Sunday nights in early '83. "NEWHART" went back to Mondays in the fall; "ALICE" and "ONE DAY AT A TIME" returned to Sundays, with Bill Bixby's "GOODNIGHT, BEANTOWN" just before 'TRAPPER JOHN, M.D.". By the way, "Still the Beaver" was also a pilot for a possible CBS series revival. After they passed on it, The Disney Channel picked it up in '84- then "SuperStation" {W}TBS got it in '86 as "THE NEW LEAVE IT TO BEAVER".
The announcer should have said "makes Gloria a local heroine".
