This is just a quick example of how I do my sit ups; usually I do them slower then shown so I can 'feel the burn' better.

For this exercise I do 20 reps during my routine; I then repeat my entire routine 2-3 more times during the day that I choose to exercise on.

I keep my hands behind my back only because it's the position I feel most comfortable in; please be aware that placing ones hands behind ones head and tugging to help lift yourself (as it appears I was about too in the video), can cause serious and possibly permanent injury to your neck and/or spine.

The bag itself weighs roughly 20kg, and at the time of this video I weighed 64kg; just for those that wish to know.

Oh and remember! Only do the exercises you enjoy doing, otherwise you may just give up all together!

If you don't enjoy it, change it! Enjoyment is the win!

PS: Sorry for the lack of shirt/singlet, I don't like it falling into my face when exercising.

  • thats one of the best abs workouts

  • @forbesfoofighters anyone could do this whether they are 6/4 or 5/1 if you cant then your abdominal strength is not in proportion with your whole body

  • Dude, genius. I used to kind of do this but also hang on with my arms on my ground bag. It had a bigger diameter so it was harder.
