What Bruce (and I am a fan) forgot to mention, is that by choosing better feeling thoughts, and by tuning into what we truly want (our highest joy), we can begin to reprogram the subconscious (which I call, the "less conscious," because it's not that hard to figure out what's there, if you are earnest about it. It really ought to be called "the automa-conscious." With practice, the automa-conscious is now OUR servant, and not the other way around.

This is good stuff but there's a hidden piece of the puzzle that needs to be revealed if we are to most effectively apply the wisdom they are sharing.
We cannot "blame" our thinking and our difficulties on who we were exposed to prior to age 6. (Bruce asserts this at 5:00)
Just entertain the notion that as disincarnate eternal spirits we deliberately chose to come into bodily form on earth to the exact parents and family we were born 2.
We choose it all 2 learn how 2 return to source.
