*nat's pov*
her awkward expression began to turn into a shocked and embarrassed expression. She stared at us as we stared at her. She began to blink nervously and started avoiding eye contact.
'psssh.. Nooo.. Like psssh. Noo!' i squealed and started jumping crazily.
'omg you did! You definitely just did!!' i grabbed her and shook her as i continued to jump.
'ok ok ok! May-maybe i did. Soooo?' she said still trying to avoid our gazes. My dad placed his hand on her cheek and smiled.
'if.. If not now.. Then when. Right?' she confessed as she looked up dad like a small little girl. My dad nodded and continued to smile. Sabrina let out a huge breath and grabbed my dad's hand.
'ok yoooou, dont try to distract me! We have something to do so shoo.' she said while doing hand gestures at me. My expression returned to it's originally annoyed and worried look.
'no! no way! He is supposed to be resting. I mean, are you familiar with that term sabrina muriel johnson??' she gasped.
'you promised never to say my middle name!'
'well if you dont put dad back to bed, i will!! Muriel muriel muriel!' she death glared me for a minute then she huffed angrily. She stomped to the door and opened it.
'ty get in here!!' a minute later, ty came in carrying some kind of garment bag in his hands.
'seriously, idk how you handle her but just do it!' she said and started helping dad outta the room.
'sabrina!' i tried stopping her but ty held me back.
'ty! What is going on??? Why is dad getting out of bed and why is sabrina helping him?'
'nat listen..' ty held my hand and ran his thumb across it.
'you know that all of us love you very much right. it hurts us to see you in so much pain. though you may tell us you're fine, we know that you're hurting. and that hurts us. especially when we cant seem to do anything to help you.' i looked at him scared and confused.
'ty what are you talking about? are-are you taking my dad somewhere? you're taking him away from me arent you?' i started to breathe heavily.
'nat no! baby just relax. ok? he's not going anywhere.' i sighed nervously and began to feel tears in my eyes.
'then what is going on? i have so little time left with him and i want to be with him as much as possible. i have so many things to ask him and tell him. what are you doing? why are all of you playing this game with me?' he sighed and pulled me into a hug.
'nat please, we're not playing any game on you. we just want to make you happy. that's all we're trying to do.' i angrily pushed him away, tears rolling down my cheeks.
'if you want me to be happy, why are you doing this? just tell me what are you up to!' he sucked in a breath and handed me the garment bag.
'look, just put this on and come meet me in the lobby ok?' i began to angrily groan.
'ty wh-'
'please. just do it.' he looked at me with a reassuring look. i sighed and nodded. he kissed my forehead and left the room. i slowly unzipped the bag and revealed what was inside. what is going on?
