Hi Robin LittleFeather, Interesting dance! Is there any reason why all the movements go to the right side, or are using the right hand to lead? Also is there a special reason why you turn only counterclockwise?
Thanks and very best wishes.

Greetings to you Winddancer
Yes there is a reason that in the Yanomami culture the hand is the right hand and the direction is clockwise. Yanomami believe that the right hand signifies prosperity, life, nurture, and the feminine divine. The left hand is male, strong, definitive, protective, warrior, masculine divine. As this is a female dance it's the right hand. Clockwise is the sacred direction used..
