Im glad you posted your experience throughout your process. I am going to be getting a top denture in Jan or Feb of 2012 and Im very nervous about it. Ive had teeth pulled before but not all at once and I have 11 to be pulled. =( Your smile makes be excited though that Im going to once again be able to fully smile without being self concious about seeing broken teeth or gaps from where teeth use to be. OH YEAH! And thank you for suggestions on what to use as an adhesive, I was really lost there

When I had a few bone spurs I would use the goopy oozy adhesive and it would give a cushion between my gums and my dentures. It seemed to help.

I had bone spurs pretty early in the game and couldn't really function much, either. So this is completely normal. You WILL get past this and things will get much better. You aren't being negative. You're being realistic. It's not all good all the time. Not even for me, which is why I haven't done another update yet. So just hang in there! The teeth look SOOOOOOO good! I mean REALLY pretty!

do bone spurs occur for everyone? or what are they caused by?i just had my extractions on wednesday and had immediates put in although im not able to get my bottoms to sit in right since i had my follow up dentist appointment my gums are just too swollen and no matter how much i ice they just wont go in so hopefully that will change pretty soon

You're looking good!! Sorry you are having so many issues, and I hope things get better for you. I have a new partial that the last adjustment they made on it made it unbearable to wear but the day after the adjustment I almost died from blood clots in my lungs so I've not gone back in, so I'm eating toothless too. Your video idea sounds awesome! And don't feel bad for not making a ton of videos!! We understand and just appreciate when you are able to make one! Sending good thoughts your way!!
