Filtered water is run through a PUR faucet filter.

Dr. Young's web site : http://www.phmiracleliving.com/

It looks like he offers faucet filters that up pH. I'm thinking of trying one and adding sodium bicarbonate in the mean time.

When healthy, the pH of blood is 7.4, the pH of spinal fluid is 7.4, and the pH of saliva is 7.4. Thus the pH of saliva parallels the extra cellular fluid...pH test of saliva represents the most consistent and most definitive physical sign of the ionic calcium deficiency syndrome...The pH of the non-deficient and healthy person is in the 7.5 (dark blue) to 7.1 (blue) slightly alkaline range. The range from 6.5 (blue-green) which is weakly acidic to 4.5 (light yellow) which is strongly acidic represents states from mildly deficient to strongly deficient, respectively. Most children are dark blue, a pH of 7.5. Over half of adults are green-yellow, a pH of 6.5 or lower, reflecting the calcium deficiency of aging and lifestyle defects. Cancer patients are usually a bright yellow, a pH of 4.5, especially when terminal." The Calcium Factor: The Scientific Secret of Health and Youth, by Robert R. Barefoot and Carl J. Reich, M.D., Gilliland Printing Inc., Arkansas City, Kansas, 1996.

To be too acidic in the body can have far reaching consequences. For example, if the blood becomes too acidic the body will balance the pH at all costs. This can lead to common symptoms which include but are not limited to heart burn, acid reflux, indigestion, weight gain, difficulty losing weight, poor metabolism, mineral deficiencies, constipation, fatigue, brain fog, frequent urination, hormonal imbalances, sore muscles and the list goes on.

Similar problems may occur if we become too alkaline, though this is much less likely. Obviously, maintaining the proper pH in the blood, digestive tract, tissues and fluids is essential in supporting optimal health.

  • I thought it was a pretty good impression of Garth from Wayne's Word, albeit a female version. :) Party on!

  • I've decided to take my robot impression on a world wide tour.

  • I'm glad she said that before rigarmortis set in.

  • Dude I just had like 10 million things on my mind in that clip, lol.

If I had better video editing skills I would fix this but it takes me a while to figure that stuff out.

  • nice vid but the girl at the end of the video ( try to look a little more lively you looked like you were going to pass out)

  • Lol. There are more vids I really want to make on alkalizing so I doubt I will have time to re-do this one.

I know what you are saying but I am more concerned with getting the info out there than how lively I look in this one :)
