the point of adding water is to cook the dumpings am i right?
btw theres a lot of contrast in light in this video.. hard to see the texture of things . but great tutorial nonetheless

Thanks for posting this video. I just tried to make dumplings, and the packet didn't say to add the water. So all my dumplings stuck to the bottom of the pan and broke open ><. I will have to try your way next time!

@rayrobot I think it might be the dumplings themselves (the wrapping), overcooking, or just the camera quality. The video clip looks like it enhances the tint.
