@opticalorganics 650 pump is superior to 440/550 in every way. Ive already done a 650 motor conversion with a 550 pump and 18 degree skat. There is more bottom end to be had with a 650 pump. By the way, variable pitch sucks, too mushy feeling. Straight pitch all the way, much more torque in these old pumps. After burner pump is for a high revving 440 or 550, mostly for racing. They lack bottom end..

@tmonsen5 why would you go through all that trouble? put a 440 pump with the 650 motor and spend the money you save not reglassing on a nice variable pitch impeller. or a pjs after burner pump. 650 pump is the worst....

That is my dream jetski right there. I am in the process of fiberglassing a 650 pump tunnel into my 550 hull to be used with a 650 motor. Wish I had the money for 800 parts.
