I do hope someday before I retire is to be able operate the the A-380 In 2006 I was coming into Kiev with a airbus 320 from Germany and was struck by lighting. Full power at a 15 degree climb. do I think a the boeing would do it. I would have to say no

wow.... it flies on one engine... like every other plane. There are no certified twin engine planes that can't, because it's something called a requirement. Go look up ETOPS.
