  • Hey Jon Was Just Wondering At What Weight Would You Start To Wear A Belt On While Doing Deadlifts?

    Much Appreciated,

    John

  • @JohnPeters0 Around this weight - 140kg

  • awesome vid

jst wondering, im 17 and deadlifting 140kg x 10 but i feel like my grip is the weak link and i could do at least 155/60 for 10 if i could grip the bar, do you know of any grip strength routines or would you recommened straps

  • Thanks, I use straps here and would recommend them for your heavy back work. However deadlifting without straps will help to improve your natural grip strength though.

  • Good technique, good reps, well done mate

  • @dealviinde I dont think it really matters but strangely I find it easier to pull this way.

  • amazing!

  • well done

  • Very strong.

  • Very well done! My one rep max is 130kg at the moment, hoping to get the 140kg in the next couple of weeks then i'll be well chuffed (i'm 70kg). Then I saw this video...unreal!

  • thats crazy my max deadlift is 140 and thats not even stiff legged. How could I increase my 1 rep max?

  • Cool. I started dead lifting yesterday at 100 kg or 225 pounds. Thing is, like after dead lifting like 5 sets of 5 my hands are like torn, and hurt when i wash my hands / grab a pencil. Any tips?
