Piano Cover - Bette Davis Eyes (Kim Carnes)

yesterday when i was at work, we played an 80's cd (lucky me!) and this awesome hit came on.. and always made me smile.. so i thought i would give it a go today.

I put a little more effort in this one and spent my saturday morning making it (today).
i used FL Studio 9 to create the drum parts using 80s drum kit patches i had collected over time,
after that was done, i just laid a simple bass track, two synth parts, and a small stringed ensemble
to create the fill in effects in places.

I prob could have done more with this but if i stuffed around more today with it i would prob have never posted
it.

@HunterHunter88 Hey mate,

no training i really had to investigate how to do it all myself. everytime i went to a music shop one person would tell me something, and then another would tell me something different. i used FL Studio to make my drums with a drums pack i downloaded from a drum site. Then i used cakewalk to lay the tracks and do each part bit by bit. There is nothing more satisfying then listening to it all at the end - although its not 100% i was qiuite happy with the sound..

I actually did the opposite of what youa are doing. I'm a drummer and in order to build the piano cover i played your video in slow motion to see where you hitted the piano and copied that to FLStudio. Voilá :D

Ok. I began by listening to your Sacrifice cover by Elton John. I was hooked. So I decided to just listen away one track after another while I study. Then I come across this song and it totally hit me with nostalgia. I remember hearing this song as a kid way back in the day (90's ish) and loving it but it sort of just trailed out of my mind (I'm only 20). Now I know the song! Thanks so much.
