NJTransit's premium service between New York Penn Station and Atlantic City, Atlantic City Express Service (ACES) passes southbound through Absecon,NJ on March 6, 2009. Trains have an ALP44 electric and a P40DC diesel locomotive on either end so the train can travel on the Northeast Corridor as well as on the Atlantic City line without having to change engines. New bilevel cars are fitted for a somewhat more luxurious trip are the consist. ALP44 4427 leads as a control car southbound just outside AC, and a P40DC is providing the power in push mode.

  • Why cant the aces have Alp46 Engines. More cars would be able to fit.
