Before uploading this year's Halloween Special, which will be uploaded tomorrow (October 31st, 2010), I've decided to upload the single race video of Shibuya Downtown first. Whilst I could have uploaded this with the Halloween Special this year, there was nothing particularly Halloween-based about the Shibuya Downtown track or Beat, thus I could not do so.

The Dreamcast title Jet Set Radio (known as Jet Grind Radio in North America), and its remake Jet Set Radio Future on the Xbox, is one of the more popular games produced by SEGA. As I understand it, players are to take control of one of the G.G. gang members, consisting of young children such as Beat, Gum, and Yo-yo, that draw graffiti and perform tricks while they avoid the police and battle rival gangs in order to claim their turf. The game's J-pop style music is hosted by a radio station named Jet Set Radio run by a DJ name Professor K. The game seems cool with its rebellious nature of the characters and story, but I haven't found any aspect of it really attractive for me.

After the two bends of the start of the track, there are three possible pathways players can take, consisting of two ramps leading to the higher ramp of the stage, and a tunnel in the middle for driving right on the road. Of the three paths, the left-handed side ramp appears to be the fastest, although it is possible to access all four turbo boosts on the following road if the tunnel path is taken. Only a few characters can perform more than one trick off of the last ramp of the stage (on a broken bridge, it seems) and recieve a higher-level turbo boost when they land; because of this, it's best to stick to a level-one boost from such jump. There are plenty of vehicles driving around the first and last parts of the track; drive around these carefully and protect your character if possible (they seem to be immune to the Mega Horn, however).

This video was recorded from the Nintendo Wii version of the game. The course was played with the Wii Wheel control scheme played on the Beginner difficult set to three laps.
