Imelda May has been nicknamed Dublins answer to Amy Winehouse. And there are indeed similarities between her and the multiple-Grammy winner provocateur from the UK: the soulful repertoire, the irreverent attitude and the powerful voice. But Imeldas sound is more rockabilly, a genre she has loved since she was four. She performs live in our studio.

@sylvia6566 Darrel Higham on guitar, Al Gare on bass, Steve Rushton on drums and Dave Priseman on percussion. Do note, however, that Priseman also plays trumpet and flugel depending on the song and that Imedla May herself is playing a bodhran in this song.
