I have a Japanese Spitz too and his extremely cute! When you pat him he rubs against you like a cat does!!

Now this dog's cutifull. :)

Maybe you live in a hot area so your dog sheds more excessively, feed it with an egg once in a week it may help.

Im currently researching this breed as i have fell in love with them, im guessing they are high maintanance dogs, with the coat being white, but i can live with that, as all i have is time lol. Very gorgeous loveable dogs thanks for sharing ^____^

@ladywiccana i just brush them once a few days and bath them once a month. she still looks good even if she got such a lazy owner. :)

@ladywiccana Actually Japanese Spitzes are quite low maintenance. :) Their fur coat is something close to teflon which makes it hard for dirt and grime to adhere to. :) They're affectionate, intelligent dogs. I love mine! :)
They do shed once every year or once every two years, though. :)

@haoshaoXiao exactly! :)) easy to maintain. but i need to clean up her eyes once few days, otherwise there will be red tear stains under her eyes. :((

@maseedis Yes, I hear from the vets that that's quite common for their breed. :( Reducing fish in their diet helps, though. :)

@haoshaoXiao I didn't give her fish that much. But maybe my supplements for her includes fish. :(
