Rather than take the word of a person who sells against the 450Wi, I highly recommend readers Google the 450Wi Brightlink.

I sell this projector as well as other interactive boards. This is miserable to work with every day. It is not very accurate at all and way over priced. This is the same technology as using a Wii mote. Before you get this - try that. I much prefer an interacitve board. The best "board" on the market is the Polyvision Eno board - the Smartboard is great too. The nice thing about the Eno is the multi-touch capabilities and lifetime warranty.

Exactly! The touch option makes it! And the Smart Software is way more interactive

I agree w/ airskeeter. We have an eBeam and Projector that we share (3 teachers)....They should concentrate in making cheaper Projectors. (at least they are expensive here in South AMerica)

Looks pretty cool. But It moves away from the interactive touch surfacing and goes back to the pens. Looks like the software they're using is out of date too.

I am very interested in this product. We have SMART, Promethian, Mimio, and one 3M. This definitely sounds like the best way to go I think. The SMART/Promethian boards are very hard to install I think. And the Mimio and 3M still having to have projectors and wires ran across the floor, this Epson sounds fantastic without having all of that. Just my opinion.

What's the catch? I am a long time SMART Board user and can't believe what I am seeing!!! This product appears to be exceptionally user friendly ... I would love to see the software that accompanies the hardware. If this company is looking for a test site you are welcome in my classroom!!!
Show it in real classroom action. This is a canned demo that shows a powerpoint. That is why the folks in the room are not paying attention. Show something that teachers can use.

The issue is that you STILL have to mount the projector. There are portable options that use an existing whiteboard like mimio Interactive. She also keeps saying that it can be ANY wall size. That is true, but you STILL have to be able to reach the screen for it to be interactive. And the wall must be, smooth, firm and flat. It cannot be any wall, and since most schools have cinderblock, that wouldn't work. Sounds neat, but I still think mimio gets my vote.
