  • A school is a school learning is what it is

its the application of what you learn. being a mangaka, their is more of a

opprotunity for it in america don't just go to japan! Japan is a whole other place indie all the way!

  • @cipher10000 :: er you talking to me?

  • @shotamerican

    no not just you

I actually had to delete alot of it

    sorry.

  • @cipher10000 :: oh no you don't have to apologize! i went cause i was already in japan and i only went for the experience. i didn't have the goal of working with comics in japan or getting published anywhere. i only made this vids to say my experiences, since people had been asking. i don't think there was anything wrong with your comment, so no worries! just wanted you to know why i attended.

  • @shotamerican

    art online?

  • My message totally got cut off

I have a similar wish as you to draw manga any way possible in the amazing country of Japan. One thing I highly highly highly recommend, and I can't stress enough, Is that you need to speak and read very well in Japanese because that's what they obviously speak in Japan and you should not expect to ever really hear any English. Also another thing that's kinda late for you now sadly, is that grades in Japan are very strict. Until you graduate from college, your life is school there.

  • LOL that baby is so CUTE!!! (^.^)

  • @shotamerican

What manga school did you go to? I've been looking at an art college that has courses for manga called Nihon Kogakuin College. I do want to become a manga artist and all but I haven't found a lot of people doing what I want to do.

  • i wish there is manga school in the US i suck as a high school even though i cant draw for shit i still want to do manga

  • @Slhtubit92 anytime ^.^ i scratched your back now you scratch mine. i need someones advice now :P

  • @Starlet360LP Thanks, that really helped x)

  • @Slhtubit92 i think you should do what makes you happy and if drawing makes you happy and you can really make something out of it i think you should go for it. i don't see why not. if you finish university then go ahead and do it. if you don't make it in the manga thing you've still got your degree from university so you can make a living out of that. you've got nothing to lose.

just some words to help. best of luck to you :)

  • i'm too distracted by the cute baby to listen! ^.^

  • whats the name of the college
