...Their first hit, "I Wonder If I Take You Home", went to #6 on the R&B charts and #34 on the pop charts, and was the most popular dance hit of 1985, which went gold. They followed it up with the hits "Can You Feel The Beat?" and "All Cried Out".
In 1987, their first 2 hits, "Head To Toe" and "Lost In Emotion" went to #1 on both charts and gold. In all, they had 13 major R&B hits, their last #1 being "Let The Beat Hit 'em" in 1991. She went solo in 1994, turning out one album.

With Teena having become the most popular white female R&B artist ever, Lisa was turning out hits at the same time to become quite probably the most popular Latina in R&B.
