Mexico City premiered this short video -- featuring images from the city during a 24-hour period -- at the Mexican pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010. The video was produced by the Mexico City Tourism Promotion Fund and co-directed by Luis Mandoki and Mariana Rodriguez. Other credits: Photography and editing by Alberto Anaya, Estaban Arrangoiz and Yaome Escamilla. Music by Alejandro Castaños.

por que 8m viven en el DF y los demos viven en el Estado de Mexico, aunque sigue siendo la zona metropolitana, ya no es el DF... 0:47 la parte negra es zona metropolitana, pero es otro estado.

Ambos datos son correctos: Ciudad de México, D.F., tiene poco más de 8 millones de habitantes residentes. Si se considera la nata conocida como Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México, entonces la población es de, efectivamente, algo más de 20 millones. La cuestión es que, desgraciadamente para los capitalinos, esa fea nata que tiene en los alrededores NO CORRESPONDE a la misma entidad federativa, todo eso es del Edo. de México. De los 22 millones en la ZMVM, sólo el 40% son de Cd. de México.

@javitkllove Mexico city's population is a little more than 8 million. If you take into account the whole metropolitan area (parts that are just at the outsides of Mexico city) it's about 20 millions. I thinl saying it is 20 million is accurate because it is a urban sprawl.
En el df habemos 8 millones, pero en roda la mancha urbana (zona matropolitana), con algunas partes del Edomex, somos 20.

hey so why everytime i do my research about largest cities in the world it says that mexico city has 22 million people living there and this video says its only 8 million?
