Ce as vrea sa ma intorc si eu in timp pe vremea lu' Dima cand viata era mai frumoasa si aveai prieteni adevarati nu niste increzuti ca in zilele noastre. Cred ca multi ar dori asta.

great thanks for the piece, I like what you did with the animato

My kid learns the Elegie now, and your video was very helpful.
You play it very good.
Thanks!

Bravo pour votre interprétation. Je travaille ce morceau en ce moment et j'aimerais parvenir à le jouer de manière aussi sensible que vous.

Very good and emotive, much 'sentimiento', taste, 'gusto'. There is a little problem with some notes in the lower piano register (left hand). With the e note, and especially the lower b note. Piano needs tuning. Elsewhere, I repeat: very good. Go on. Muy bueno.

@letseehere07 "Elevul Dima dintr-a saptea" is a romanian book written by Mihail Drumes. In that book he often "talks" about this song. I think this is why "elissa82" mentioned it. Great cover.

i played that on viola with piano accompaniment a couple of months ago, i didn`t know that that song was originally written for piano solo - it sounds great, beautiful and so emotional.

The original is indeed a song by Massenet, which tells of reminiscence, hence the haunting character of the tune. I'm not sure if this arrangement for solo piano is by the composer, as original, because it does not include a soprano voice line. The lyrics suggest the song is written fro soprano. Nevertheless, my approach was to voice the piece as a song, either for contralto/tenor or for cello.
Thank you for your comment.
