Let's Play Pikmin - Day #2. They Call Them Mellow Yellows

It's time to move on to the Forest of Hope, another beginning playground area of sorts with some pretty basic enemies. However, it is a step up from the Impact Site, so keep watch of your Pikmin buddies.

We also meet the yellow pikmin, a funny-looking variation that are much lighter than the reds, and also have the demolition uses of bomb rocks.

They can, but yellow pikmin get more pikmin for harvesting them.

Aren't Yellow Pikmin immune to electricity? or is that only in the second game?

loving it, 2 questions can you get more than 1 part a day and is there any limit on the amount of pikmin as a whole?

Each part/update needs to be just one day because I don't want to finish the game too quickly.

And I believe there is no limit to how many pikmin you can have as a whole. There may be a 9999 limit, but it's very, very doubtful than anyone will be able to raise that many pikmin.

I propose that SlimKirby's red leave Pikmin be named Reginald, or Francois, or some awesomely epic name just to be better than a certain unnamed Red Leave Pikmin that I actually like, but just to make fun of how overrated the joke is/actually finding the fiery blowhog thing funny. Ooh, maybe they could be Little Slims?

Know it's old but still, hope by now you realize that you don't have to put them back in the onions, you just need them in the active group, or in the main camp, 2 expands on this by letting idles that are near you count as safe as well

Hey slim did you know that electricity was intended to be be in the first but game but for some reason ( yellows emune to) and that all pikmin were going to have the ability to use bomb rocks but they scraped that too.

@SlimKirby Interesting fact, there was planned to be electrical hazards in this game, (which yellows were going to be immune to) but they were scrapped at the last second.
