What Lebanon's government doesn't realize is how important it is for the country to switch to Solar energy and become part of "saving the world" club. Hopefully, it won't be the case for too long.

This is really good if the government considers investing in Solar cells as an alternative technology for renewable energy sources since Lebanon receives an average of 250~300 hrs of sunlight per year. This investment will eventually decrease the usage of fossil fuel; the investment is going to be costly but the payback in revenues would eventually pay off with a surplus not to mention the environmental benefits like less smog in Beirut and other crowded cities.
