Listen closely and this Aborigini digery do player has an important message to tell us. Here at the lookout point that has a view of The Three Sisters.
Before making the video I introduced myself to the person playing this digery do. I gave him a gift of my art which he was delighted in receiving. He welcomed me to videotape him.

  • I wish I did know his name....we talked quite a bit before I videotaped..I gave him a drawing that I made by hand first as a gift...and an exchange. The noise in the banckground is a comment in it of it's self...and represents and intrusive culture of noise...contrasting with the core spirit of the message of the music.

  • Incredible Video! Excellent! 5tars!!

  • Thank you very much ib2fast...I really appreciate the comment.

  • I tried to set a link as a Video Response to it but was unable. In any case it is an excellent example of traditional Digery Music and the Culture. I was linking it to give people a flavor of the Culture. All the best to you. Again Excellent!!

  • I'm glad I made this video with the respect it deserves.

  • Hey...thank you very much for your comment.

  • His name is Gumbala and he's often at the Three Sisters lookout in the Blue Mountains if he's not touring the world performing.

  • this is kinda like dubstep

  • It would be funny if world soccer championship was iin australia and everybody brought a digeridoo instead of a vuvuzela

  • Notice as the intrusive jackhammer begins, he wisely switches to his deeper toned instrument to combat the noise.
