I am huge fan of music, all kinds. I sing in public once in a while and play the guitar poorly.

I am middle aged, and try as I may, I simply do not understand why Streisand is 'good'.

She is a decent Broadway and cabaret and club singer but I find all of her performances completely unmoving.

I am listening to her catalogue, 1961-end, and I simply do not hear what you are talking about.

She is PERFECT! Her tone and pitch is perfect. The note she hits when she sings "love" in the last verse is sheer brilliance and perfect. Crystal clear voice. THIS is why you always hear people say "and then she opened her mouth and sang". I get chills when I watch this. Hands down her best live vocal performance. You can tell the onstage hosts are dumbstruck. Noone, noone could sing like her. Nobody. Period. And yes, she is beautiful. Her natural hair color is black.
