Make your own watercolor canvas using your favourite watercolor paper. When your painting is finished you then can handle it like an oil painting - frame it WITHOUT glass or hang it at the wall without a frame.

  • that is such a great idea... thank you! i have one question what type of krylon is best? thank you!!!

  • The only thing different I did was use scissors to cut the corners and I cut them AFTER it was wet.

  • Well.... I just did it and it works awesome !!! it was soooo easy.

  • I am absolutely freaking flabbergasted !!! THANK YOU !!! I am soooo going to try this. I recently bought some watercolour ground to apply on already-purchased stretched canvas, but it does NOT act exactly like watercolour paper. Your method is bloody genius !! I am soooo doing this !!! OMG OMG OMG. This changes everything ! I already have the Krylon spray to protect the art as well. Seeing this video, I now do not have to frame each and every painting I do - costs will go down! thank U
