Trying out a HK Mark 23 and Knight's Armament MK 23 Suppressor....firing didn't go as planned. The threads on the Mark 23's barrel had a small burr and the suppressor wasn't fully threaded on allowing the suppressor to go flying downrange. No damage to either the pistol or suppressor - mounted it back up and shot a string without issue.

  • You muzzled the cameraman at about 13 seconds.

  • @turdferguson9725 Slide open. Finger off the trigger. Magazine in support hand. Holding horizontal to keep some of the water in the can....I can live with that for what we were doing on the bench.

  • I don't mean to hate on you, but that stance is kinda...odd.

It looks uncomfortable over time, but hey, I can't critique. If it gives you results, who cares how it looks?

  • @darkelow That was how HK was teaching their "tactical stance" during this course - although that may be a bit exaggerated. It is very stable, although uncomfortable, and provides the most benefit during full auto fire. I don't shoot with that aggressive of a stance anymore - that vid is almost eight years old.

  • I have noticed some people tend to be a little too gentle with gun things. Looks like a case of that here. Regularly threaded suppressors can be a PITA with coming unscrewed while firing, have to keep checking to see if they're tight. That gets to be real fun when they get hot.

  • @TheColdTruth It wasn't that we were being gentle, it just had every indication that it was properly threaded on. It stopped threading on, it felt tight, and was properly aligned. Not sure what else I could have done at the time.

  • Hahaha you tacti-cool douche, I can't wait to show my friends at the dept. this video.

  • replace the insides of the suppressor with explosives, and you have a pistol grenade

  • " hey, dont you think the suppressor should be all the way on??" " HURR HURR NO ITLL WORK FINE!"

  • how can you screw up threading on a can on a MK23 ? I run a evo on my mk23 and between the o-ring on the piston and the fact that HK indexes on the front of the barrel instead of the shoulder, the can should never get loose , or stop threading before the barrel hits the piston ... I don't often see adding water from the muzzle either , typically you put water in from the piston side and then shake it into the can .. the blast baffle and first half of the can benefit more that way.. just saying.

  • you are bending your knees a lot what it's a reason for that?

  • @turdferguson9725 dont be a bitch

  • @MrStarofDavid Yeah, anyone who gets upset over aggravated assault is a real dumbass.

I actually go out shooting in the desert near you, past Buckeye. Point an "unloaded" gun at me, and we'll see what the sheriff's department has to say about it.

Also, the whole thing about not pointing guns at things you don't want to destroy, at all times, is so that eventually, you do it without really thinking about it. Every time you do something wrong, you have to do it right 10 times to make up for it.

  • @turdferguson9725 Your a dumb ass.... get over it....

  • nice shooting stance LOL

  • @darkelow one of the reasons that stance is used is to cover vital organs by your arms
