"ABSOLUTE CRAP", thats what others are saying. but i think its a nice movie, despite of those scenes that are not suitable for kids. i think the story has some message, but the viewers cant see it clearly. they've wasted tons of money for this..just for NOTHING?! geez. watch the movie again. xD

lopsided, flawed in thinking people after listening to Paul Giamatti's speech. I compare this film to bringing in a huge birthday cake - the kind of cake that you can carry a human inside. This Cosmopolis film looks aesthetically nice. The cover of the book looks nice. But there's NO heartwarming human inside. This movie is cold like cash. If you want to see Robert Pattinson have sex, urinate in a limo, & have pie smashed on his face, then this film is for you. Otherwise, it's not a great film.

in the way crazed people think before they do something violent & drastic in real life to other people. That's why I find this movie very unsettling because it's the most accurate & realistic to how crazy people think & what they do. And it's upsetting that no matter what people say to some of these crazy people, they still don't listen. That's the worst part of this movie. good quality dialogue. It's not deep. It's not heartwarming or hearttouching. "Cosmpolis" just leaves you with a a frustrated, disappointed, cold feeling. Paul Giamatti is a good actor but his crazy character hits too close for comfort especially when people in real life have gone crazy & shooted people for dead in Newtown, CT. This is NOT the film you want to be watching after shooting incidents that have killed people because Paul Giamatti's character in this film is very realistic (cont.)

Robert Pattinson, Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche are talented actors & actresses who are BETTER than this. David Cronenberg is BETTER than this. The only realistic scenes were the abnormal, bad, unsatisfactory, unhappy brief marriage Robert Pattinson's character had with his blonde wife. And Paul Giamatti's crazy, psychotic, delusional character. This movie focuses on Robert Pattinson and all the characters he meets in 24 hour day in NYC and how things fall apart in one day for him. How he wants to be free & have control & get more out of life. How having lots of money has a lot of responsiblities, lots of protection, less (cont.)

I just watched "Cosmopolis". What I CAN say is that I now understand why some people walked out of this movie before halfway in when they watched this at the movie theater. The first half of this movie is kind of boring. I found this to be a frustrating film. And I'm a deep, philosophical, very patient, openminded person. I felt that the brilliant Juliette Binoche was totally underutitilzed in this film. What a waste! Samantha Morton's long scene with Robert Pattinson wasn't good either. (cont.)
