Really never deployed, you do know mccain son was killed in Iraq as a marine. Mccain never was an admiral, jeez you're idiot. My dad was in the Army for 15 years - he knows for a fact certain people such as offspring of politicians, flag officers were intentionally put in squads that would never be deployed.
Another example is John McCain. He graduated dead last in his class but thanks to his dad (an admiral) he was entered into the navy's aviation program.
So shut the fuck up, and get ready to invade Iran.

@FLICKPatriotism What point, you didn't make any points. All you shown so far was your fringe views on the military. Everyone knows what the military does from their good and bad sides. Special squads, the "elite kids" are not put into special squads they are put into the same squads as everyone. NO ONE GETS SPECIAL PRIVILEGES IN THE MILITARY. Also not everyone goes to combat you idiot, less than 15% of the military is in a combat role. Everyone else is in base or back in the states and abroad

Yeah, the kids of politicians who join the military so their parents look good - they're the Ivy league graduates who end up in the military. Like George Bush - they have special squads set up to keep the elites safe.

@FLICKPatriotism Officers in the military are required to have a BA/BS, in some cases MA/MS in whatever field they are trying to go into. So think before you write, you idiot. I'm guessing you never when to college, or have friends in the military who are college graduates. You'll be surprised how many Ivy league graduates are in the military, and also graduates from top science/engineering school. Next time please research before you type your ass off.

@FLICKPatriotism wow man that's mest up. I whant to join the air foce and I got 3.60 GPA. The service is not for drop outs or stupped people its for people who whant to do diffrent stuff in there life and have a experince 1 in a life time.
