@userek I would have to slightly disagree. Being that the Famicom used discs, it allowed for more memory than the cartridges of the NES. Therefore, there were much better game designs and animations on the Famicom. I saw these videos and fell in love with the game. I immediately looked for the ROM and downloaded it!

I have beaten the game..although, I didn't read Japanese, but, I have played it when I was 14 years old..a very good game..Ryuuhi is my favorite Hiryuu no ken character...

The game absolutely rocks and the soundtrack is totally awesome. they don't make them like this anymore.

i used to play this game a lot when i was a kid, i couldn't finish it though. it was in japanese and i never understood the parts of the game when you had to fight the gigantic skeletons. do you know if there is any english version of this game??

no there isn't, but there is game called flying warriors which is english. Its something between this game and its prequel, released only in us.

It was, however there is only 1 vs 1 mode in it.
