This PSA was made in response to the B.C. government's mind boggling proposal to cut 92% of funding to the arts. As artists, we must fight these devastating cuts the only way we know how, with our art.
The arts are key in any healthy society. Let the B.C. government know they are important, www.stopbcartscuts.ca.
ARTLESS will be screening at various movie theatres around Vancouver. We're also trying to get some air time for it. If anyone has any suggestions as to how we can get this this out there please let us know.

They not only are dropping it in arts but also in sports and funding for Disabled children. But I think the arts are essential for school. As language arts are an art form, without them, we would be silent. But... I do kinda want to put the blame on the olympics!

Absolutely beautiful!!! I'm going to re-post this to my Facebook page, since I actually have several conservative (ahem) "friends" who believe that arts cuts are necessary and painless in this economy. BRAVO, you guys!

Great video well done! I recently read.... Experiments show that most children rank highly creative (right brain) before entering school. Because our educational systems place a higher value on left brain skills such as mathematics, logic and language than it does on drawing or using our imagination, only ten percent of these same children will rank highly creative by age 7. By the time we are adults, high creativity remains in only 2 percent of the population. How sad is that...
