This video is done from a pyrotechnician perspective. The location is Cecil Township Pennsylvania. The event is the Cecil Fall Festival. Cecil Township is my hometown. If you followed my other videos you know I try to capture what it is like to work as a pyrotechnician. This video continues with more behind the scene material that most people never get to see. I have included a few technical details that involve electrical firing with a Pin Board. The final video of this series covers the paperwork that a shooter must complete. You will also see two of my helpers that I met from doing other videos of fireworks display. I love fireworks and pyrotechnics. Thanks for watching the video, please feel free to rate and/or comment on the video.

  • realy good show and vid but I think the show was too slow.... next time I think you should "quick it up" but that is just my opinion. by the way, you can fan the finale racks so it will make a wide picture in the sky :D I think it was a great show and I hope you replay my commet :)

    have a nice weekend

  • It is funny you are saying I should have went faster. One of the firemen watching the display said I went too fast. You have to watch if you shoot to fast with different shells it can look washed out. I tried not to have too much dark sky.

  • I've never seen a firing system quite like that before. Was it made for Zambelli or is it a regular brand?

  • It has been around for a while I am not sure of the history on it.

  • very poorly filmed when the show started you are seeing all and not he who turns alt alsa but pretty good shot anyway they were indeed happy that we got to see the finals and the saluts

  • I couldnt film and shoot the show. I admit this part could have been a little better, however we may have it covered with a video response that should post soon, this way we can see the entire air display. I wanted to show the pin board in action.

  • dude the guy only look up to the fireworks 9 times

  • Hey guys What Pyrotechniqe brand is this PLS tell me my father wants to buy this kinda Fireworks!

  • 15 minute show... How much did it cost? In total? At NYE we have a show about 7.5 minute long that cost about 9000$... I think it's just so incredibly annoying that it's so short, considering how rare displays are here. You coudn't take a peak at the video of it non my channel to judge how much that would cost in the US? I think the largest shells were 8"...

  • @displayfireworks1

This is true. Really depends on the effects of the shells and how large the "canvas" is. Those 4 inch shells had some good breaks!

  • The 5 videos in this shoot are my favorite of all your vids Dave. Very informative setup, quality shells. The pace of the firing was a little too quick I thought, I agree with the fireman. Constant shells bursting is always cool but you could've stretched it to 11-12 mins. Might not have looked as impressive though. You've been doing this longer than us fans so you know what's best. Another great series of videos Dave!

  • you should think about throwing some cakes in when you do a show like this. give the pin board a break and lengthen the show quite a bit as will, plus changing it up is always a good thing for the crowd.

  • im not sure it is, i can only hear one lift charge going off and i know most display fireworks have to comets attached for the rising rail, and sometimes one of them comes off from the force of the lift. that might be what happened.

  • Yeah you're right :)

The comet seemed to have come loose and split in two.

    Thx anyway.

  • those wear the tails coming off.

  • Yeah I noticed it too!

Guess that one was a dud.
