She always gives an interesting interview. I would watch her anywhere. She's more interesting being herself than in any of her movies. And what a vocabulary this woman has. Brutally honest about herself also. Few celebrities today are this interesting.

you are so right that she's so much more interesting being herself than in her movies where she just falls flat and has no power as an actress. I love the way she speaks. She's so well-spoken and seems cultured. It's interesting that she and Steve McQueen took off because he seemed the opposite of the cultured, sophisticated type she seems to be.

Did you read her book? One of the funniest passages concerning her marriage to McQueen was her resentment towards him always referring to her as "my old lady". LOL.

I can neverstand pretty women, Ali is heads above even todays stars...my sister who is also very beautiful, seems to have had self- image issues thru the years, even having minor facial plastic surgery at 45 despite looking about 25 ....tsk tsk, they need some psychology and self image improvement .

'Love Story' was as emotionally devastating as the 1986 movie 'Aliens' was shocking adrenaline -totally unrelated movies however both the leaders in their respective emotional categories -a bunch of Army guys were arguing who was the strongest, the fastest etc when one of them calmly says "lets watch Love Story and see who's the least messed up", of course they all laughed but nonetheless watched it, by the end it was a huge mess with each guy struggling to hide his face from the others

Last night, for the first time, I watched the film Love Story from 1970 and Ali Macgraw was incredible, what a personality and a smoking figure. I read her bio on Wikipedia and is worth a look if you want to know more about her. Anyone who does not fit in with the Hollywood click is someone I like. For the most part, I can't stand Hollywood.
