This video explains how I overcame chronic repetitive strain injury (RSI) in my fingers following intensive computer use. More information on computer related health and safety can be found at http://explainingcomputers.com/dse.html

  • Thanks for taking the time to explain this, helped me a lot!

  • @Sytrusze Many thanks. This is the first video in which I've shared a very specific and personal experience, so am really happy that doing so has helped somebody.

  • Slow and crystal clear; perfection.

  • @J2897Tutorials Many thanks! : )

  • Hi,I am big fan of you and your good works as teacher,I love your videos because explain a lots to me,Can you tell me if exists a pen that i can write in my keyboard to write the letters that desappeared,i have this keyboard a long time and i want to write the letters because all letters are desappearing. Thanks a lot and you are an inspiration for me,i wanna go throught computer works too :-)

  • @DragonMasterXZ Thanks for your kind comments. Any solvent-based marker pen -- eg those sold to write on DVDs and CDs -- will write on keyboard keys, though you will need to really de-grease them first to get the ink to remain for any peroid of time. My Dad has consistently worn the letters off his keyboard and has resorted to putting on stickers with the letters on them -- which actually works quite well. Though they need replacing every 6 months or so. Good luck with your future plans! :)

  • typing like a boss

  • Thanks for the explanation :)

I have researched RSI, and it seems, i have also developed RSI.

Im only 13, but spend most of my time on the computer, and using it as my main source of communication.

I really enjoy your videos, they are very informative :)

  • @zoharh there just right if your monitor/ tv supports it.

  • Please DON'T record in 1080P :)

One of the worst things lately, was "wide" screens.

(they are not wide, but short. completely annoying)

  • @tenchidbz I am considering moving to HD in 2012 -- it just has a major implication for the pipeline for my videos that use a lot of 3D rendering (esp. on my ExplainingTheFuture channel). I always said I would move to HD when the first person commented on the issue -- and now somebody has! :-) However, I have a a few videos currently in production (eg one on quantum computing) that will still be 480p. Sorry!.
